Salamanca cathedral
This is an all in trip to the Castile y Leon region of Spain, north west of Madrid, to sing in two glorious and ancient cathedrals in Salamanca and Valladolid, with some time for tourism in a region historically and gastronomically rich and a treasure house of palaces and castles.
The package includes flights from London to Madrid and return, with coach transfers to and from the hotel and Valladolid, with a full-time bi-lingual courier. We’ll stay for four nights in central Salamanca, a UNESCO World Heritage city, in the well-reviewed ABBA Fonseca hotel, which is ten minutes’ walk from the cathedral.
The company arranging our trip, Specialised Travel Ltd, has a long track record of choral and orchestral trips and will ensure that our performances are well advertised locally, with high levels of audience attendance to be expected. Hilary will lead us with a repertoire selected from our the Spring 2026 concert ‘Hear my Prayer’.
